Dance de Suite en Si mineur – Allemande (2001). -------------------------------- Antonio Federico Mormina began studying the guitar at the age of 13 as a self-taught then following the courses held by Antonio Mastino, but only by attending the rigorous school of Maestro Marco Amelotti at the Civic Istituto Musicale Brera in Novara who knew the excellent musical art on the guitar. He later graduated from the G.B.Martini Conservatory of Bologna. He attended various specialization courses with the Oscar Ghiglia Masters at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena and with the Maestro Aldo Minella. He was awarded in some competitions. In 1994 he participated in the performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s Falstaff under the direction of Maestro Nello Santi. He has been collaborating for years with composers Marco Bertona and Federico Dell’Agnese, performing and recording their world premier pieces. He plays on Aldo Illotta’s guitar, Eugenio Naso guitar, wich is inspired by the 1937 Hermann Hauser built for Andrés Segovia and on a historical guitar builded by Pietro Gallinotti in 1968. He has recorded for Rockhattle since 2015.
